I’m really excited to share a fantastic mindfulness tool with you this week that has really helped me.
When I was pregnant I was exhausted. I assumed it was the pregnancy and that I would have more energy once my son was born. My energy levels didn’t improve at all. You expect to be tired when you’re looking after a new born but this was different. I had very little energy, even once I was getting a full nights sleep.
After well over a year of struggling, my mum made an appointment for me with a nutritionist. I’m not sure why she chose a nutritionist but it turned out to be a great choice.
The nutritionist went over my diet which I thought was pretty healthy as I love fruit and vegetables. I was astonished to learn that I wasn’t eating anything like enough protein. The other thing the nutritionist suggested was mindfulness.
About The Headspace App
The nutritionist recommended the Headspace App to me. I now use it regularly and it really helps me stay calmer when I can feel things getting on top of me. It has also improved my ability to fall asleep.
